In August 2016 we sailed Sage to Portland for the winter. Partially so it would be closer to do maintenance over the winter month but also to do the trip itself. So over 10 days and with alternating crews Sage sailed from the most southern tip of Puget Sound up north to the Strait of Juan de Fuca, out into the Pacific Ocean and back south along the Olympic peninsula to Astoria on the mouth of the Columbia River and finally up the Columbia River to Portland.
